Kamakura with Cap

Here are some pictures from Kamakura while Matt was visiting in June

The easiest decision of my life

Hokokuji - Bamboo Temple (my favorite)

Singler fan?
is that going down or coming up?
the strawberry confection on a ritz cracker prior to Cap swallowing it whole

never question the meaning of ones shirt when they have clearly stated it is
"justified to kill to survive."
looking out to the coast from Hasedera Temple
we timed our trip to perfectly coincide with the bloom of the hydrangeas. Unfortunately, 100,000 Japanese had the exact same plan. We chose to enjoy the blooms from below rather than wait 2 hours for our time to be permitted to enter the line to take the paths up the hillside. Since the trails are single track you are basically in line until you get back to the bottom of the garden.
people waiting for thier turn to get in line and trying to stay cool under the mist arbor
inside the caves at Hasedera Temple. Usually it is cooler underground, but they must have had the heat on

Chillin on the beach to end the day - rather than waiting in the line to see the hydrangeas
