Nezu Museum

The Nezu Museum and gardens house art work collected by Nezu Kaichiro Sr., the industrialist and president of the Tobu Railway. The collection is strong in artwork, writings & calligraphy, and artifacts related to tea and tea ceremony. The traditional garden is built around a pond and features several tea houses.

Gardens
Carved Stone
Meandering path. The gardens display various patterns and construction techniques from various periods in Japan. The consistent use of stone, bamboo, and wood tie all of the elements together.
Boat in the channel which is currently dry due to lack of rain, and the weir being closed to preserve water in the upper pond.
